It happened again, we moved!
Well, it’s more like a step…our new office is just around the corner from our current location, which is also where our latest project, Rare Tempo will live. We’ve been buzzing about Rare Tempo a lot lately if you haven’t noticed, we’re ridiculously excited to get started working with a ton of artists, makers and especially happy to be doing all of this with the team at Ello. As our team continues to grow we’re pretty pumped to enter another new office and get to know more about the Five Points neighborhood.
Speaking of Five Points, did we mention we’re big fans?! Not only are some of the lovely brands we get to work with based here but there’s tons of local businesses we frequent that we think deserve a bit of a shoutout. Purple Door Coffee is of course, right next to our current office. They’re our favorite place to get a great coffee and delicious breakfast burrito. If you’re more of a tea person, just two doors down from the Rare Tempo space is Lore, a fine tea shop. They’ve got a wonderful, aromatic selection of teas, plus neat household items that always make a nice gift. We know we said we’re moving but to be perfectly honest, Dunbar is really our second office. Anytime we need a quick bite, a place to take a mind-clearing stroll, or go out for a team beer, we end up at Dunbar. (The falafel balls are amazing.) Coming soon to the Welton St. building is The Usual Barber Shop, so don’t be surprised if you catch us with some fly new hair-do’s
The new office is just across 30th St., nestled between Mr. Mashed Potatoes….the furry chief stylist at Village Solo Salon and our good friends at Chocolate Spokes bike shop. (Mr Mashed Potatoes is a new friend of ours with whom we hope to build a long and prosperous relationship, through the means of belly rubs and treats.) We’ve been working with our new downstairs neighbors at Chocolate Spokes for quite some time now and are pumped to be even closer to them! We’ll try to keep the break dancing noise to a minimum.
While we haven’t moved very far, roughly 60 yards to be exact, we’re always inspired by the new people and experiences we face in Five Points. There’s a huge wave of new local businesses moving into town, being a part of these new local developments isn’t just exciting but it creates feelings of community and opportunity to make something great every day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
